September 2023 - Dr. Ramón García Cortadella receives Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral global fellowship, funded by the EU

07.09.2023

Dr. García is a researcher in the field of systems neuroscience and neuro-engineering with a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from the "Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona" (Spain).

During his PhD, he developed, within the EU-project BrainCom and in collaboration with Prof Sirota's lab at the LMU, a new technology for cortex-wide mapping of wide frequency band neural activity with high spatial resolution.

After obtaining his PhD, he was granted an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship to join Prof. Sirota's laboratory at the LMU to study the role of infra-slow brain activity in the coordination of fast neural dynamics.

Dr. García will now continue his research in the lab as a Marie Curie global fellow with an outgoing phase in the renowned Buzsáki Lab at New York University.
